Re: Re-torquing 1.6 Hdi injector bolts. Just a quick follow up to the above. Take a look at this picture of one of the studs that hold the injector in place: As you can see, the longer part which screws into the head uses an M6 thread. However, the bit that takes the nut which secures the injector has an M7 thread. 18-02-2013, 08:45 PM. I personally would highly recommend it, if the dpf core is removed, then no one is ever going to spot it, and when the ecu is remapped there is an option to lock the changes so no one can check the map, or steal it. No MOT tester is going to know if the internals are missing from your DPF. •. 2 days ago · CITROEN C3 C4 C5 + BERLINGO & PICASSO 1.4 1.6 HDi DIESEL BRAND NEW STARTER MOTOR. or any other 3rd party expenses incurred in the removal and replacing of any

Hi Ive got a 1.6 petrol and have a problem removing the starter motor ,ive removed 2 of the bolts but i cant see or feel where the last 1 is ,is there anything i should be doing to give me better access or has anyone got a photo of the starter in situe, this shouldve been a quick job but its turning into a right pain
Sounds like the starter motor. 1 Check the electrical cable to the starter has not come loose. 2 hit the starter gently so as not to damage it with a hammer where it goes into the gearbox as it may be jammed. 3. Get a motoring organisation or an auto electrician to check the wiring. 4 last resort replace the starter.
